This looks so good! I’m new to Keto/low carb so I have a question: I don’t have straight erythritol. I have stevia, Swerve granular and confectioner, xylitol and Lakanto classic (monkfruit/erythritol combo). Can any of these be used in place of the erythritol in your recipe, and if so, which is best, and is the amount the same or does it need adjustments? Thank you so much!

Don’t care for lemon extract? Just replace the lemon extract with more vanilla extract, or use another extract. The beauty of this recipe is that it is easily adaptable and you can change the flavors to suit your own tastes. Sometimes I’ll use only vanilla extract in place of lemon, or use butter extract with the vanilla extract. When I’m really in the mood I’ll toss in some berries before baking.

This recipe works really well and seems to be pretty versatile. I always have chia seeds so I subbed those for the psyllium husk. Then husband asked if I could make cheese and onion bread so I threw some dried, diced onion and cheese cubes in it. He was very happy, it still baked up nicely and, most importantly, husband liked it. Thanks for posting.

If you’re not a fan of baking but you’re a fan of eating bread, there are places to get keto friendly bread these days. If you’re lucky, you may be able to find a loaf of “Paleo Bread” in the freezer section at Whole Foods Market. This bread is going to cost you over $10 per loaf, but it is made of good ingredients and is a few grams of carbs per slice. There’s also rumors of ALDI carrying a new Zero-Carb bread, but it sells out fast and we haven’t been able to review it. Hopefully in the near future there will be more local buying options for low carb bread, but for now, those are your only options.

What do you eat when detoxing

Dear Darlene Hi,There are many keto bread recipes online, this one caught my attention owing to its promise of not smelling eggy. That claim holds true to a large extent. I used baking powder instead of xanthum gum but even then the texture was good .Overall a great recipe which I hope and continue to improve. However I am confused about the net carbs in the nutrition box. As per my understanding net carbs are total carbs – sugar – dietary fiber which in this case will not be logical. Can you pls advise the net carb per slice as per the recipe. Thanks a lot.

Is the Air Fryer good for keto diet

Hi Marcella, Not all recipes can use sweeteners interchangeably, though many can. I do talk about this in the sweetener guide you mentioned. The reason for specific sweeteners in recipes is mainly because I can only 100% vouch for the way I tested the recipe, with my specific ingredients. Sweeteners also provide bulk, so sometimes changing to a different one does change the result as well. In the case of these cinnamon rolls, though, there isn’t a lot of sweetener in the dough, so they do work fine with almost any sweetener you like.

Is there a topical cream for arthritis

Hi Mark, the nutrition box states 1 serving (slice) out of 12. SO, if you wanted to calculate the nutrition for the entire bread, you’d just have to multiply it by 12. I’m sorry, but I did not weigh the bread so I cannot give you the nutrition per 100 g. There’s a good (free) nutrition calculator on the website sparkrecipes.com that you can use. Or download the KetoDietApp, it also has a good one. Glad you like the bread though!

Is coconut allowed in Keto

Oh just about everything- ice cream, cheese cake (although had to give some heavy cream in this), cheese dip, chocolate-cheese mousse etc. I cook it with chicken and spinach too, but I was talking about non-traditional uses like the ones above. I’ve recently started using it with mayonnaise to give it a lighter consistency because my mayo seems to thicken too much. However, you cannot make VCO from the store bought cream, you would need fresh santan to do that.

Can you eat corn on the cob on keto

just to share with you that i normally buy my cheese, butter, almond flour, nuts…from bakery ingredients shops that are selling much more cheaper than retail shops and supermarket. eg. i get raw almond and almond flour around RM39-41/kg, walnut around the same price. mozzarella RM50+/2kg block, cheddar RM70+/2kg block, cooking cream RM5/pack, while coconut flour RM12+ at Aeon….while i travel in eastern Europe, i’ll buy MCT oil and coconut oil which is ridiculously cheaper than Malaysia, eg, pure MCT oil is selling RM30+/400ml while the one i found in KL is selling RM60+ 300ml and VCO is RM20+/1l while RM60+ in Malaysia. also, in Eastern Europe, animal fats are easily available and cheap, if you happened to travel here you can pack some home.
