Is pasta healthier than bread
Hi Suraya…..stumble on yr site while surfing for healthy oils as i make my own oils namely coconut, peanut, sunflower and flaxseed….own consumption and selling to close relatives and friends. Since my husband’s episode of ” heart attack” few years ago, i’ve started realizing that our staple diet among malaysians are full of sugars, fast food and carbs. The more i research the more I’ve come to realize that the main ingredients are so full of preservatives, colorings and additives….This keto diet that i’ve come across so frequently nowdays has made me thinking of trying it but with the mentality especially for asians….rice and flour is a must have on our dinner tables including my husband….i can only wonder.
Is Arbys Roast Beef bad for you
I can’t wait to make these! I have a Ninja system that includes a food processor with both knife and dough S blades. After chopping the nuts with the knife blade do you keep the knife blade for the rest of the recipe or would you switch to the plastic one? I only ask bc it seems like in most other “dough” recipes you’re not wanting to cut through it but mix it. Then again I’m not quite used to making many Keto doughs yet. 🙂
Hi Neha, my recipe uses baking powder and not baking soda. I think this is the reason why your bread had a funny taste. Baking soda is much stronger than baking powder (I think twice as strong). The xanthan gum helps improve the structure of the bread – almond flour bread is a little more fragile than wheat bread because of the lack in gluten. But your bread will still work without the xanthan.
I have not tried this yet. It could work, if you baked it for longer. The only thing I’m worried is that it might not rise as much because of the extra weight. I might be wrong, but I don’t want you to be upset about waisting expensive ingredients. There’s someone who commented about doubling the recipe on october 25th 2018 – but it sounds that she might have used 2 pans instead … here’s the comment: “I just made this. I doubled the recipe and used long narrow Wilton pans. I used carton egg whites. I baked it for 45 minutes, turned the oven off and left it closed for 30 minutes. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I now have 21 slices of bread in the fridge to experiment with. (That means I already ate 3)”
