Omg! I was Christmas baking with my friend. I made keto rumballs and started my keto pumpkin pie crust while he whipped up this recipe. At first I was a bit skeptical: Mozzarella cheese? O M G! These are award winning. No lie. I was sent home with a small batch of them and I am hoarding them lol. MINE! All mine lol . The rest of my non-keto family better stay away!
If you’re not a fan of baking but you’re a fan of eating bread, there are places to get keto friendly bread these days. If you’re lucky, you may be able to find a loaf of “Paleo Bread” in the freezer section at Whole Foods Market. This bread is going to cost you over $10 per loaf, but it is made of good ingredients and is a few grams of carbs per slice. There’s also rumors of ALDI carrying a new Zero-Carb bread, but it sells out fast and we haven’t been able to review it. Hopefully in the near future there will be more local buying options for low carb bread, but for now, those are your only options.
This recipe works really well and seems to be pretty versatile. I always have chia seeds so I subbed those for the psyllium husk. Then husband asked if I could make cheese and onion bread so I threw some dried, diced onion and cheese cubes in it. He was very happy, it still baked up nicely and, most importantly, husband liked it. Thanks for posting.
How do you keep fried chicken crispy
Don’t care for lemon extract? Just replace the lemon extract with more vanilla extract, or use another extract. The beauty of this recipe is that it is easily adaptable and you can change the flavors to suit your own tastes. Sometimes I’ll use only vanilla extract in place of lemon, or use butter extract with the vanilla extract. When I’m really in the mood I’ll toss in some berries before baking.

Can you eat too much fat on the keto diet
If you want to spend more, fried chicken or beef is usually added to the dish. But, we decided to keep it pretty simple and mimic the street food you can get. In Brunei, where Hazim is from, pandan leaves are commonly used. They’re tied together in a knot and boiled in coconut milk. But, this is a pretty hard ingredient to find in the rest of the world, he decided it would be best to skip it.
Resep Tahu Sutra Rumput Laut Keto – Sewaktu bersantap di sebuah restoran China, si sulung menunjuk gambar tahu sutra rumput laut dengan saus jamur yang menggugah selera. “Coba bikin kayak gini versi Keto mam”, gumamnya. Akhirnya saya mencoba membuat versi Ketonya dan senang sekali hasilnya tak jauh berbeda, saosnya sempurna! Saya menggunakan xantham gum sebagai …
Curry puffs or as we call it, Karipap is a comfort food for Malaysians. Well, any Malaysian food is comfort food to us. 🙂 Karipap is also known as epok-epok and is quite similar to Empanadas. Karipap is a dough stuffed with dry curried minced meat or sardines and then fried. Some add a quarter of a hard boiled egg in it. On a regular day, I would make Karipap using ready made puff pastry as I don’t have a good hand with dough ( I always over handle it). My Easy Sardine Curry Puffs recipe using puff pastry.

Hi! I live in Europe but I’m a Sabahan who goes home every year for a couple of months for Chinese New Year. So I started keto about 2.5 months ago for weight loss and the result is pretty good. I’m due to return to Malaysia in a month’s time and I had a mild panic attack assuming that I won’t be able to get keto-friendly product. Created a ridiculous list of things to bring back too! After reading your post I feel a lot better now, phew!

Hi Suraya…..stumble on yr site while surfing for healthy oils as i make my own oils namely coconut, peanut, sunflower and flaxseed….own consumption and selling to close relatives and friends. Since my husband’s episode of ” heart attack” few years ago, i’ve started realizing that our staple diet among malaysians are full of sugars, fast food and carbs. The more i research the more I’ve come to realize that the main ingredients are so full of preservatives, colorings and additives….This keto diet that i’ve come across so frequently nowdays has made me thinking of trying it but with the mentality especially for asians….rice and flour is a must have on our dinner tables including my husband….i can only wonder.
