The best part about this bread is that it makes it so much easier to eat a low carb diet. Yes, there are some savage beasts (joking) that don’t miss bread at all and are happy to just eat bacon seven times a day, but if you’re anything like me, bread was a staple of your diet growing up and you still have a look of yearning in your eyes when they drop that bread basket in the middle of the table at family dinner. I feel your pain. This low carb bread recipe is your shoulder to cry on.

If you’re not a fan of baking but you’re a fan of eating bread, there are places to get keto friendly bread these days. If you’re lucky, you may be able to find a loaf of “Paleo Bread” in the freezer section at Whole Foods Market. This bread is going to cost you over $10 per loaf, but it is made of good ingredients and is a few grams of carbs per slice. There’s also rumors of ALDI carrying a new Zero-Carb bread, but it sells out fast and we haven’t been able to review it. Hopefully in the near future there will be more local buying options for low carb bread, but for now, those are your only options.

Take the dough out onto a large piece of parchment paper (not the one on the baking sheet). It will still be fairly sticky. Use a little bit of the melted butter on your hands to prevent sticking as you spread it into a rectangle. Place another piece of parchment on top and roll out to a thinner rectangle, about 14 in (36 cm) long by 10 in (25 cm) wide, and 1/3 to 1/2 in (8 to 13 mm) thick.

I have not tried this yet. It could work, if you baked it for longer. The only thing I’m worried is that it might not rise as much because of the extra weight. I might be wrong, but I don’t want you to be upset about waisting expensive ingredients. There’s someone who commented about doubling the recipe on october 25th 2018 – but it sounds that she might have used 2 pans instead … here’s the comment: “I just made this. I doubled the recipe and used long narrow Wilton pans. I used carton egg whites. I baked it for 45 minutes, turned the oven off and left it closed for 30 minutes. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I now have 21 slices of bread in the fridge to experiment with. (That means I already ate 3)”

Can you eat whatever you want on intermittent fasting

Hi Suraya, great to hear that you are on the keto diet! I’ve been on it with a strict training regime at Axiom. Technically i’ve done it before without realising last year, but i’m back on it again and it’s one the best lifestyle changes i’ve seen for me. I came across your site because I was searching for low carb sweeteners. I’m finding that a problem unless i buy Stevia online which is possible. Anyway for recipes do checkout ketodietapp. It’s awesome and I will experimenting on recipes of my own too on my website. Warrior on with the keto! 🙂

I am not Malaysian but I’ve been living here for a while and have grown a fondness for Malay cuisine. Actually that is how I ended up here, was looking for Malay keto recipe. I just started keto last week- but I am terribly worried about the expenses. Everything is so freaking expensive! Just bought RM 120+ of ‘fat stuff’ (not counting the meat, veg etc.) and I am not sure if it will last me even 2 weeks :(. How did your expenses vary from before when you started keto?

This looks so good! I’m new to Keto/low carb so I have a question: I don’t have straight erythritol. I have stevia, Swerve granular and confectioner, xylitol and Lakanto classic (monkfruit/erythritol combo). Can any of these be used in place of the erythritol in your recipe, and if so, which is best, and is the amount the same or does it need adjustments? Thank you so much!
Hi Mark, the nutrition box states 1 serving (slice) out of 12. SO, if you wanted to calculate the nutrition for the entire bread, you’d just have to multiply it by 12. I’m sorry, but I did not weigh the bread so I cannot give you the nutrition per 100 g. There’s a good (free) nutrition calculator on the website sparkrecipes.com that you can use. Or download the KetoDietApp, it also has a good one. Glad you like the bread though!

Is coconut allowed in Keto

Berhubung crustnya agak rapuh jadi harap …
